First Poster for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2

Hey there Twilighters, sorry for my absence. I was recovering from my Hunger Games feels. (Seriously, that movie left me more wrecked than Bella in New Moon) But I’m back now and just in time to share the news with you: WE HAVE A BD2 POSTER!

Now don’t get too excited, it’s very much like the first BD1 poster, in that it’s very minimalistic. But a poster is a poster and at this point, we’ll take what we can get. (But really Summit, what’s with all the stinginess this time around? Give us a longer trailer or at the very least, a shirtless Jacob poster.)

Once you get past the disappointed (come on, how hard is it to slap in the wolf pack or the Cullens? People do it with Photoshop every day) you kind of start to appreciate it. It’s dark, setting the tone for the next movie…okay, that’s crap but it was worth a try. At the very least, it makes you eager for a decent poster.

As always, share your thoughts Twihards!

A Teaser for the Teaser?

This appeared, but it’s only 15 seconds.  Really?

Now it’s just getting ridiculous.  Trailers are meant to be a teaser for the movie.  Teaser trailers are a shorter version of a trailer.  Now we have what’s called a sneak peek.  Those are usually about 30 seconds long.  So, what is this?!  15 seconds of a teaser trailer?!

I don’t know who to blame for this, but this kind of marketing has got to stop.  I would hate for us to have 5 second clips in the coming years just because they can.

Anyway, in case you want to see it, here is 15 seconds of Breaking Dawn 2 (but really it’s 8 seconds, since the last 7 are of the title.)
