The Teaser to the Teaser
As ridiculously short as these clips are, and as much as we’d like to boycott them until they give us longer ones, we can’t. So for those of you looking for the 10 second teaser that has everyone up in arms, here it is.
Teaser Trailer On Edward’s Birthday
According to MTV News, MTV will be airing the newest teaser trailer for Breaking Dawn, Part 2 on Wednesday, June 20th at 8:30am ET. So, get your alarm clocks ready to be up and at ‘em for teaser trailer. Or, you can just wait until you actually wake up and watch it somewhere online.
Summit Entertainment will unleash a “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2″ teaser trailer bright and early at 8:30 a.m. ET on Wednesday, which you can watch on MTV.com. You won’t have to wait until Mr. Cullen’s birthday to catch a first glimpse at the trailer, either, as Summit plans to release a 10-second sneak peek of the teaser on Tuesday at 8:30 a.m. ET.
So, yes, there’s also a 10 second preview of the teaser trailer the day before just to whet your appetite. In all honesty, this whole teaser to the teaser is a little ridiculous.
Of course, with it being Edward’s 111th birthday on Wednesday, maybe you have other ways of celebrating? What do you plan on doing that day?

A Teaser for the Teaser?
This appeared, but it’s only 15 seconds. Really?
Now it’s just getting ridiculous. Trailers are meant to be a teaser for the movie. Teaser trailers are a shorter version of a trailer. Now we have what’s called a sneak peek. Those are usually about 30 seconds long. So, what is this?! 15 seconds of a teaser trailer?!
I don’t know who to blame for this, but this kind of marketing has got to stop. I would hate for us to have 5 second clips in the coming years just because they can.
Anyway, in case you want to see it, here is 15 seconds of Breaking Dawn 2 (but really it’s 8 seconds, since the last 7 are of the title.)
Breaking Dawn II Teaser to open for Hunger Games
It is only obvious, what with Summit and Lionsgate now united, that they would want to promote Breaking Dawn, Part II by giving us the teaser trailer with The Hunger Games. Despite your reservations about the 2 being compared to each other, the fan base is the same and this is just a great marketing strategy for both when you think about it.
I truly am looking forward to seeing Breaking Dawn 2 in November, as I can’t wait to see how all the new vamps look! Not saying that they would even show any new vamps in the teaser, but still, one can hope for it.
As for seeing Bella as a red-eyed sparkler, sure I want to see that, too, but I’ve seen images and I’ve seen the crappy youtube video of the exclusive clip they showed in Target, so I know how she looks. But with many other movies coming up before November, I hope to at least be smiling, but not squeeing, when the teaser comes.
What about you? Are you eager for it? Will this be your only reason to go see The Hunger Games? Comment below!
